A triple graduate from UTEP, his research focuses on public safety applications using autonomous robots and drones, with a commitment to advancing technology for firefighting and emergency response.
Saad is a dedicated double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, hailing from Austin, TX. With over 2.5 years of experience in robotics and drone technologies as part of the research group, Saad has honed his skills in cutting-edge innovation. Outside of academics and research, Saad enjoys practicing martial arts and diving into books in his free time.
Daniyar is an international student from Kazakhstan, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Back home, he was a member of Kazakhstan’s youth national archery team. Passionate about technology, Daniyar is focused on advancing his knowledge of embedded systems through research, with experience in drone technologies.
Dr. Jitendra Tate, an expert in advanced composite materials, leads the development of fireproof materials. With 27 years of experience, he specializes in high-performance composites for fire-retardant applications and has secured funding from NASA, NSF, and industry partners. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications.
